Peanut loved to play in the snow, but after a while in the white stuff, her legs would bog down with mini-snowballs.  Eventually she would gather so many snowballs that she could no longer walk, and we had to pick them off one-by-one.

This crafty ground squirrel figured out how to help himself to a daily meal in our bird feeder.  He would climb the nearby tree, run along a branch, then hurl himself through the air onto the feeder for a feast.

My beautiful wife Theresa enjoying a snowy day at Devou Park in Covington, Kentucky.  The timing on this photo was mixed: I captured her big smile, but also caught a hunk of snow falling off the tree in front of her face.  I didn’t even realize it happened until we got home and viewed the photo on the computer.
